A successful harvest and a call for volunteers

Our community garden has had a wonderful growing season, and we are delighted to share the results of our latest harvest. Over the past few months, volunteers have worked hard to nurture a variety of crops, creating a vibrant and productive space for everyone to enjoy.

We would like to thank all the volunteers, supporters, and visitors who helped make this season such a success. The garden continues to be a place where people can come together, learn new skills, enjoy nature, and grow fresh produce.

As we move into autumn and winter, our focus is turning to preparing the garden for next year. We are looking for volunteers to help with winter maintenance activities, including clearing beds, pruning, tidying growing areas, and general cleaning around the site.

We are also planning to improve the garden pathways to make them safer and more accessible, particularly for older people and those with mobility difficulties. Creating smoother and better-defined paths will help ensure that everyone can continue to enjoy the garden throughout the year.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Mushroom Trust for its generous support of the project. We are also grateful for contribution from Dundee City Council, which has helped us continue developing the garden for local residents.

Whether you can spare an hour or a whole day, your support would make a real difference. No gardening experience is required, and all ages are welcome.
