Dancing during the Covid-19 crisis
Dancing for the NHS
We started our first online project back in April in full lockdown when everything had to close and the country came to a near stop. Our kids started to be anxious about their parents working for the NHS and so we decided to start some online classes. It was difficult because of the poor internet connection for some of us, and so we decided to learn from pre-recorded dance video.
remote dancing to celebrate diversity
Dancing remotely has many challenges, but it was also an opportunity to connect with former dancers and friends from all around the words. We learned from video via our whatsapp group and time difference was no longer an issue. Everyone recorded their dance from the comfort of their home and some talented young people created our videos. We managed to have fun despite of the pandemic and celebrate diversity.
Indian Independence Day 2020
Every year our dance group is organizing a cultural program for Indian Independence day on 15th August. Due to the pandemic, we could not organize a live performance but we still wanted to celebrate. We hope that you will enjoy it.
Thanks to our teachers
Over the years, we have had the chance to meet many talented teachers. We organized an online program to thank them for shraing their knowledge with us.
SIAF DUSHERRA 2020
